Karting is a vital step for drivers who want to gain experience at a young age with the intention of developing later in motor sport, as well as a discipline in its own right that is widely practiced by many drivers around the world, as President of the FIA Karting Commission Akbar Ebrahim pointed out during the awards ceremony for the 2022 FIA season.

The WSK 2023 racing calendar confirmed a total of 14 races with the substitution of the venue of the fourth round of WSK Super Master Series on April 30th. The race will be held in Cremona instead of Castelletto, while the third round of the WSK Open Series has been anticipated from May 7th to April 16th in Castelletto.

The final race of the 2022 Rok season, which is solely for the ROK categories, will feature 36 MINI ROK drivers.
During a two-day event at Franciacorta, Mini, Junior, Senior, Super, Shifter, and Expert Rok drivers will be on the track for competitions, challenges, and heats.

It has been talked about since the beginning of the OK-N project, and the OKN-Junior is now a reality. Full-scale tests have enabled the CIK-FIA to validate the definition of the OKN-Junior engine to extend the OKN's field of action to younger drivers as easily as possible, with a simple exhaust flange. A single engine unit can therefore power drivers in both categories of the most accessible competition offered by the CIK-FIA for national markets.

While we are winding down the racing here in South Africa, there are still some races left in the international Rok Cup.

ROK FESTIVAL 2022

The ROK FESTIVAL, the final event of the Rok season to be held on December 3rd and 4th at the Franciacorta karting track, is a two-day event race, exclusively dedicated to the six Rok categories: Mini Rok, Junior Rok, Senior Rok, Super Rok, Shifter Rok, Expert Rok.

Joseph Turney wins the OK CLASS championship with our Tony Kart Racer 401 RR during the second and final round of the WSK Promotion series at the South Garda Karting of Lonato. Success was also achieved with Enzo Tarnvanichkul in the OKJ final.

The young Finnish driver, who competed in training with our official racing team and won the OK world championship in 2021 while wearing our logos, has joined the esteemed Maranello driving academy.

Noah Milell takes first position in the KZ2 class with our Racer 401 RR during the opening competition at the International Naples Circuit. In the OK final, Joseph Turney battles for the win. There were drivers racing in the OKJ and MINI divisions as well.

500 drivers competed in the final two rounds of the 11th WSK Final Cup at Sarno and Lonato, with the latter awarding today's winners the titles of MINI, OKJ, OK, and KZ2.

The FIA's annual Volunteers Weekend will honor the selfless efforts of our men and women volunteers at championship events throughout the world (November 12-13).

The 2023 racing calendar introduces several novelties: from some new circuits involved to the new OK-N and OKJ-N, X30 Junior and X30 Senior to join MINI, OKJ, OK and KZ2.

From 2023, karting will expand its base with a new concept derived from the premier category, the OK.

The OK-N will allow National Championships to use a universal category, adapted to all of the participants of each National Sporting Authority for kart racing, approaching the top level, in every country that wants it.

Our Tony Kart Racing Team’s last phase of the sporting season is now at the start. After the OKJ title on the occasion of the FIA Karting World Championship in Sarno obtained two weeks ago, the Tony Kart Racer 401 RR is again protagonist at the WSK Open Cup of Lonato, still powered by the DST (OK) and DJT (OKJ) Vortex engines (OTK Kart Group "engine division"). In the MINI class, on the other hand, as always, the Racing Team goes on track with the Tony Kart Rookie - Vortex MCX duo.

The de facto entry point into single-seater racing is now firmly established as karting. Previously, drivers could enter Formula One through a variety of sports; for example, 1964 champion John Surtees was a motorcycle racer, and five-time F1 champion Juan Manuel Fangio grew up competing in grueling Dakar Rally-style races in his native Argentina. However, today, every driver in the F1 paddock began their racing career in a kart.
