ROK NAMIBIA ROUND 5 RACE REPORT

17^th June 2023

The start of Leg 5 of the Namibian Championship for karting took place in Windhoek this past weekend. For Rok this is there Fith race of the championship in Namibia.

There were 4 Kid Rok and 3 Mini Rok karters on the grid .The day started with very cold temperatures, but the kids was ready!

The 4 kids in Kid Rok where very close to each other during the race, Hermann Schouw had a good Race and was very Fast.

Kristopher Koudelka (16) came first overall, he kept his cool in the last heat  and did a great job, Hemann Schouw (15) came second overall, Petrus Du Plooy (36)( Mr Consistency) came Third overall with Milla Botha (5) in 4th.

In the Mini Rok Class Cecil Jnr was on form with a PB time of 40.21  sec around the track.

Kirsten Koudelka Came 1st Overall, well done to her, she is improving every race.

Cecil Koorts (44) came Second Overall, he had a Engine Problem in heat 1 but in Heat 2 and 3 he was Flying  .Our New Driver for the Day is Markus Koudelka he came 3^rd , but for his first race he did very well.

Our 4^th Race Joane Kotze could unfortunately not race as she burned her arm a week before the race ,we wish her a speedy recovery.

We at Cema Racing is busy with a development  lady driver that will be racing in her first event on the 15 August 2023 

We have 4 Female drivers at the moment, and hope we can get more in our Rok Classes.

Our next race is on the 12^th August  in Swakopmund hope to have at that race 4 Kid Rok and 6 Mini Rok karters
