LOK24
The new flagship chassis of LN Racing Kart - the brand born from the collaboration between OTK Kart Group and Lando Norris, a former World Champion driver with OTK products and now a Formula 1 driver - was presented in the Direct Drive, Shifter and DD2 versions. Several new features have been introduced - also present on the other model dedicated to the Junior and Senior classes, the TDX - among which the innovative fairings and the new braking systems stand out. For the MINI classes, however, Rookie is confirmed in the EVM and EVS versions, both with advanced components.
The LN Racing Kart model year 2025 product range is divided into three chassis models: LN Four MY 2025, TDX and Rookie.
The development of the technical innovations introduced by LN Racing Kart is the result of the joint work carried out by the racing department and the R&D department of OTK Kart Group. Their synergic activity has allowed all the products to evolve in the name of the historic company philosophy: “Designed, Engineered, Manufactured, 100% made in OTK - Italy”. A “creed” that has always been applied in the Chassis Division of OTK Kart Group, in Prevalle, and which includes strict quality controls for the materials used, in addition to the use of automated processes that guarantee extremely high production standards and total repeatability of the products.
LN FOUR MY 2025, THE TOP MODEL CHANGES ITS SKIN
The reference point of the LN Racing Kart product range undoubtedly remains the LN Four model, evolved in its MY 2025 version. The geometry of the frame, made with 30 mm tubes, is confirmed compared to the previous homologation, both for the Shifter and Direct Drive versions. LN Four MY 2025 also brings to the debut several new technical solutions. The most eye-catching are without a doubt the M11 fairings and the new BWD and BWZ braking systems. However, the evolutions of the smallest details that may deserve further refinement compared to the past have not been overlooked, as evidenced by the new aluminum chain tensioner, now anchored to the bearing support.
IMPROVED AERODYNAMICS, THANKS TO THE NEW FAIRINGS
The new M11 fairings, compliant with the latest FIA regulations, are the result of constant design, CFD simulation and wind tunnel testing carried out by the OTK Kart Group R&D department, combined with numerous track tests carried out by the group's leading racing department. From this synergy were born the new M11 front spoiler and front spoiler (the latter with an innovative design), both capable of improving aerodynamic efficiency, with consequent positive effects on track performance. The side fairings and rear protection, part of the M10 kit, introduced with the previous homologation, remain unchanged.
NEW BRAKING SYSTEMS FOR ALL SENIOR CATEGORIES
With the new LN Racing Kart product range, the new braking systems are also presented - from the OTK Kart Parts line - specific for the Junior and Senior chassis of the Direct Drive and Shifter classes. The new systems are called BWD (dedicated to the single-speed categories) and BWZ (for the geared categories, including DD2). For both models, a double option is available regarding the rear disc, which can be 180 mm or 206 mm, based on individual needs. A specific solution for the BWZ model only is the new braking distribution system, completely renewed compared to the past. As mentioned for the fairings, also in this circumstance the work carried out by the OTK Kart Group R&D department was fundamental, leading to the development of innovative technical solutions, capable of guaranteeing an extremely high degree of efficiency of the components, especially in terms of heat disposal and containment of the average temperature of the brake oil.
TDX, MANY INNOVATIONS AND DIFFERENT CONFIRMATIONS
As usual, alongside the LN Four model, we find the TDX. The continuous research into materials by the OTK Kart Group R&D department distinguishes this new model, the frame is entirely assembled in 32 mm tubes, both for the single-speed and geared versions. In terms of components, the TDX is equipped with all the technical innovations introduced with the LN Four MY 2025: the new M11 fairings, the BWD and BWZ braking systems and the aluminum chain tensioner fixed to the bearing support.
THE DD2 EVEN EVOLVES
The LN Four MY 2025 and TDX, in their respective DD2 versions, keep the body design unchanged. As regards the components on the chassis, also in this circumstance, we find all the innovations introduced with the LN Racing Kart product range. The DD2 models, in fact, mount the BWZ braking system and the M11 fairings. A specific feature for these versions of the LN Four and TDX, is the new fixing for the muffler support, now removable, designed specifically for the engines used in the category.
NEW FEATURES FOR THE “DOUBLE” ROOKIE MODEL YEAR 2025, DEDICATED TO THE MINI
Rookie will be on the starting line of the 2025 season with its EVM and EVS versions, confirmed for the MINI classes. In terms of body geometry, the design remains unchanged compared to the previous edition. However, with the two versions of the Rookie branded 2025, several new features are introduced. Above all, the new pedals, forged in aluminum and multi-adjustable, which guarantee an optimal driving position for drivers of all sizes. We also have the new BMT4 spindles, with 235 mm steering tie rods and new hubs (both front and rear), made of magnesium. As for the Senior models, the OTK Kart Group R&D department has also designed new fairings for the chassis dedicated to younger drivers. The kit, called M9, includes the front spoiler and the front spoiler which are clearly inspired by the M11 models, the elements intended for the higher classes. The side fairings and rear protection, which are part of the M8 kit, with previous homologation, do not undergo any changes. As for the brakes, Rookie mounts the already well-known BSM5 system which varies in the brake disc - now 149 mm floating - and is combined with the new 4A brake pads, specific for the particular needs of the MINI class.
