On the 15th of April 2023 Namibia hosted the third round of their ROK Namibian Championship, and despite the cold in Swakopmund the day got off to a good start. There were 4 Kid Rok and 3 Mini Rok karters on the grid.
Kid Rok was a very close and swapped places almost evey lap with some exciting close racing.
Kristopher Koudelka (16) came second because of some bad luck during the day with Milla Botha (5) third, Herman Schouw (15) came fourth with his own share of bad luck. The top step of the podium with the win for the day was Petrus du Plooy (36)
In the Mini Rok Class Cecil Koorts was flying with a time of 29.58 seconds around the track
Cecil Koorts (44) came first with Kirsten Koudelka (24) in second with a time of 29.57, she gave Cecil Jnr a run for his money. Joane Kotze (12) came third in only her second race in the Mini Rok class. Unfortunately our 4th karter could not make it.
Cema Racing is busy with a development lady driver that will be racing in her first event on the 13 May 2023
We have 4 female drivers at the moment, and hope we can get more in our Rok Classes.
Our next race is on the 13th May in Windhoek hope to have at that race 4 Kid Rok and 6 Mini Rok karters.
